Product Hire at Dressage Deluxe
At Dressage Deluxe we offer a hire service across selected bits & stirrups. We understand that with such a purchase the oppurtunity to trial efore you commit is essential!
Bit Hire:
We offer a bit hire service for selected Sprenger, Neue Schule and Bombers bits that we stock.
Hire charges for bits:
Bit hire cost £15 for bits valued up to £100 and £20 for bits valued above £100 for 21 day hire. Please note - we only offer this service to UK postal addresses.
How bit hiring works:
When hiring a bit, you initially pay the full cost of the bit, and we will send you either a new bit (90% of the time) or a previously hired bit if there is one available (please note we are not able to accept requests for new bits to be sent in preference of hire bits). You are then able to use a bit for 21 days (starting from the day you sign for the parcel and finishing on the day we receive it). At any time during this period, you can decide to:
Buy the bit:
If you have been sent a new bit, simply keep it – there is no need to let us know as you have already paid for it. If you have been sent a hire bit, return it to us with a note that you require a new bit (we recommend a recorded method of delivery and this part is at your cost) and we will send a new replacement bit carriage free.
Return the bit:
You will be refunded the price of the bit less the hire charge. Please note:
The bit must be returned clean and in reasonable condition. Fair wear and tear is obviously acceptable, but broken or damaged bit will not be refunded.
Stirrup Hire:
We currently offer Stirrup Hire across selected Flex-On & Samshield stirrup irons.
To Hire:
Place your order for the hire stirrup pair and pay in full for the item. We will dispatch the item and you then have 10 days from receipt of the item to trial the product.
If you like the product you can keep the hire pair or exchange for a colour of your choice. Please let us know if you are going to keep them via email or via phone (01706941660).
If you do not want to keep the stirrups and would like to return the trial pair, you must return it to us within 4 days of the trial ending (so 14 days from receipt of the item).
Please box the item back up and return to us. You can use our hassle-free returns service. The label is FREE as long as you are exchanging goods of the same value or higher. If a refund is required, then £5.00 will be deducted from the refund amount to cover the cost of your returns label.
Once returned you will be refunded the cost of the product less a £25 hire charge.
Unlike bit hire, we only offer this service on the HIRE pair of stirrups on the website, we cannot accept returns of used stirrups that were not purchased as hires.
All items returned to us must be returned in a clean and undamaged condition. Any items that are not clean or have returned damaged will not be refunded. All items on trial are your responsibility until they arrive back with us. Please ensure that they are taken care of and when posting them back that you box them up appropriately. We will cover the return postage.
